"Stuck in a rut"would make a very appropriate facebook or twitter status right now. I've worked for the same crummy company for seven years, and I've memorized my boss' footsteps by ear to my advantage as a forewarning. I know that totally sounds ungrateful and whiny but it's a fact for me. While I'm enthused at the idea of sharing what's a day like in ma life, I prefer not to bore you with it. On a more positive note, I am certain this is just a passing phase. I also believe that I will take over the world in the not so distant future *evil grin*.
We all cope with our current situations differently or do not cope at all. As for me, when days seem longer than usual and when I seem to have run out of things to google, I listen to this CD which was a surprising discovery. My favorite song in the album is titled My T.O. and a part of the lyrics goes:

Something that you feel so glad you've got

I love my T.O."
I think no one's ever too young or old for something that helps you stay on an even keel whether it's that decrepit Wuthering Heights pocketbook you've read too many times or that Sleepless in Seattle DVD that you've watched for the nth time or that scruffy old teddy bear on your bedside. Whatever it is, it becomes a piece of the puzzle that's you.
